It SHOULD be D Day if everything comes together. Tate is still running slightly elevated temps and battling nausea this morning. But cultures look good and she’s not vomiting. She has a BMT appointment Monday in Colorado, so the goal is to get her home for that.
The hiccup is we can’t leave without tpn/lipids (iv nutrition.) The bags we brought are now expired as we were supposed to be home yesterday. They are working with our Colorado Homecare company to get her what she needs here in order to get her home. That likely won’t come together until this afternoon so the first opportunity to head home would be tomorrow.
Tim flew home this morning as there was just so much work for him this weekend. Tate, Copper and I are pretty adaptable and will adjust as needed.

We had some sweet visitors yesterday. I’m truly touched tgat people would take time out of their schedule to stop in and see us. and I did get to see Keira but not the boys. These kids are busy with school and work. I love just knowing they’re close even if I can’t see them everyday. Our attending we have this week said now we can come anytime since Tate has a team here too. The Medical team we’ve had this week has been so kind and welcoming. It IS comforting to know there is a safe option here in a now familiar environment. But hopefully next time we come it won’t be to spend it in the hospital.
