Keira Day 7

It’s D Day for Keira! Last night was long…..on a new floor and a Heart rate of 32 that kept the alarms going all night long. Not much sleeping! That led to an echocardiogram today that was normal enough to finally be discharged around 6 pm. Keira worked on getting all the gunk out of her and was tucked into bed pretty early. It’ll be so nice to all wake up under the same roof tomorrow-just missing TJ. I’m anxious for a night without the alarms and beeping and so many interruptions. Neuro icu care is like nothing we’ve experienced before. Hourly neuro checks include talking, moving and bright lights in eyes. Not one you just sleep through. I don’t think I’ve yet processed everything that has happened the last couple weeks and especially this past week. So proud of Keira. And also so very thankful that we’re already on the other side. It’s been a whirlwind. Thank you for all the love and supportive messages and prayers!

Keep Lilly in your prayers as she’s back inpatient battling a fungal infection. Its been a tough couple days for her! We love you Lilly and Elisa!
