Day 27
Today was a bit of a rough one. Tate had lost some time while here and was pretty upset to realize we’ve been here almost a month. Dilaudid was turned down again making managing her pain tough and we heard some really tough news about someone we care about here.
But…despite the pain, Tate sat up on the side of her bed with Ruffles for PT. Other good news today is a repeat ultrasound on both sides of Tates neck and chest showed no new clots and that the big blood clot on her right side has shrunk enough that blood is now flowing around it. And tomorrow Tate has a surgery slot to have her central line removed along with a bone marrow biopsy.
