Tate wasn’t awake much of today at all. She said hello for a visit by Tate’s adopted Grandpa Ron and Dad and then slept until 6:30 PM. Increased nausea, pain, swelling and lack of color is never encouraging when discharge is around the corner.

We switched IV antibiotics today to give Tate’s kidneys a break and in preparation for going home. Tate had an echocardiogram and a long awaited care conference was had by her primary providers. There’s concern at the changes that are being seen over the last few months.

Tomorrow we are hoping for a couple specialty consults and maybe a pain pump refill. Tate needs to continue in a positive trajectory and hopefully we’ll be home again very very soon to continue all the medical things there.
