Day 4 and we feel like we’ve worked out the medication kinks. Pain is better controlled. Only one morphine rescue needed during the night. None yet during the day…the host of other pain meds are holding her pretty steady. Added a lidocaine patch today. Nausea is a bit more present this afternoon but controlled. Scope is set for Friday at noon. Oxygen is off. We had some of our favorite team members show up and got the same awesome day nurse two days in a row. Tate has even kept down a popsicle slushee and jello. It’s been amazing to hear Tate advocate for herself with her many many team members. It’s definitely the little things when inpatient.
