After sleeping 20 + hours yesterday, today was a pleasant surprise when Tate got up today and worked on some Lego’s (Thanks Wheelers!) This is the first activity/craft I’ve seen Tate initiate in weeks. So encouraging!

We’ve re started J tube feeds and Tatum has been eating a little bit each day. Progress is slow but we’re headed in the right direction to eventually be able to stop the tpn. We continue with multiple weekly clinic appointments and are thankful for some telehealth so we can cut down on the hour plus trips (one way) to main campus.

It’s been a little tough on Tate seeing all the “first day” pictures and now the start of HOCO season. She’s yet to get to experience any form of high school. She hasn’t been in a classroom setting in the last 3+ years. Her health continues to be a thief of so many life experiences. But, we are thankful to be able to move forward and work towards a future filled with life experiences.
