The weekend was nice. Tim is trying to get over a nasty cold so the house was pretty quiet. The additional meds/fluids have fit in nicely to my routine for Tate. I wish her feeds and tpn worked in the same system as her antibiotics. It’s so much easier than anything else we do.

Tate had an appointment this morning with her special care Dr. She had an X-ray taken immediately after her broviac surgery to check for placement that was pretty concerning. We were discharged home Friday with little explanation as it was 7 pm on a Friday night. Tate’s hospitalist didn’t love what he saw today either so we’ll repeat the x Ray and pray it looks better. No explanation for sudden improvement would be just fine. If not, a pulmonary Dr. Is one we don’t yet have on our team, so we’d have a new team member. Honestly just so thankful to be able to coordinate all Tates care in one place.

We had a nice night tonight handing out treats to the neighborhood kiddos. It was warm and it’s so fun to see all the cute costumes. We even got to say hi to some sweet friends that made the night extra fun. Feeling so grateful to just be home and to cherish all the simple things. Missing the big kids tonight.
