We have a room with a view! Mountains and Christmas lights. We moved rooms today to have access to a bathtub for Tate. And we had a musical visitor for some Christmas cheer. Makes everything better!

Steroids and fluids and IV antibiotics have effectively brought up Tate’s BP and really kind of masks whatever it is that’s going on. The hard thing with Adrenal insufficiency is that it really isn’t safe for Tate to be having such low Blood pressures, thus the steroids. And the low BP can easily be a stress response rather than a primary problem making the detective work more difficult.

Antibiotics will continue through tomorrow and pain team will come look into her IT pump. But as long as she’s on these steroids, evaluating any response will be difficult. So, likely we’ll need to DC those and then see if her BP holds and then adjust the IT pump if cultures remain negative. A whole lotta digging deep for patience. Tate has a great attending on this week and last night we were greeted by a familiar attending face too. It makes my world 1000% easier and I’m grateful!
