We’re back inpatient….and it’s December! We caught more than a month without an admission.
Due to worsening symptoms and BP’s, Tates special care Dr./primary had us come in tonight. There was a trauma team waiting which I wasn’t expecting at all, but it buzzed us straight through a very full waiting room and we’re on our way to her room shortly. Only a couple hours in the ER to get a room is really really fast and shows how well they know Tate (and that she’s stable.)
Tate has two iv antibiotics on board already and new blood cultures are being incubated. Her labs are in the toilet across the board which can indicate infection. We’ll see what tomorrow brings. I’m not happy to be inpatient, but didn’t fight this request for her to be brought in, which likely put Tate’s Dr on alert as that isn’t my usual stubborn way. I’m grateful to have a crew that knows her….and me.
