Day 16
Ivig day 2. Fentanyl patch hasn’t made much of a difference. Last night was rough as the iv dilaudid was cut in half and spaced too early. Today we’re back to full strength every 3 hours, plus a fentanyl patch, plus Tate’s IT pump and constant ice on her legs. She’s still struggling. It’s defeating. And concerning . We can no longer blame this on the infection, but more likely, progression.
Tomorrow or Monday will likely bring another MRI as we wait for those labs to return. The antibiotics flow 24/7.
Tim and Keira were by today. Each day I’m hopeful Tate will feel well enough to “do” a bit more…a craft or a game. Her tremors and pain are making that difficult.
