Today was back to the drawing board for all team members as Tate seemed to decline considerably over the last two days. Team members who last saw her Friday remarked on the change over the weekend.
SO…after lengthy discussions, her antibiotic was switched again to a new and now continuous iv antibiotic. WE are hopeful that this will help. But there’s a lot of varying opinions if this is chronic disease progression rather than unresponsive bacterial infection, which results in two different responses/outcomes. What we do know is Tate is much worse than when we first came in 12 days ago. So we keep advocating, keep trying and keep praying for improvement.
