Temperatures don’t matter when you have the people and the view.
I wasn’t sure it’d happen, but we made it to Alabama to see Uncle Tom and Aunt Jen. You may recall that Tom was dx with melanoma right as Tate was headed into bone marrow transplant. He’s now state 4 and in a trial at MD Anderson in Houston. Tom is Tim’s older brother.
Wednesday night I was pretty sure I was crazy taking Tate away from home base as she was in rough shape. But she has rallied and a change of scenery (especially the beach,) is GOOD medicine for the heart and the head and we are having the best time. Our hearts are filled with gratitude to be with people we love.
