It’s Keira’s 2 Year brain surgery anniversary. An anniversary is typically connected with a celebration. But in the medical world it’s more about survival and acknowledging the fight it’s taken to build a new normal. This day was awful. There’s been lots of hard days since. But we give thanks to God for getting Keira through surgery.

It’s been hard. Nothing resulted like planned and the lasting effects have changed everything for Keira. Our paths are so often not our plans. But God is faithful in this broken world. The hard stuff is a great teacher of perspective and priorities. We’re grateful to squeeze both girls everyday and the boys whenever we can get them. And we try to remember everyday that we’re provided with everything we need. What the world deems important are not Gods priorities.

Tate is still battling covid and the rest of us are on a faster road to recovery. We had to say a long distance goodbye to TJ. His next stop is a honeymoon! We’re still working towards our trip the end of this week.
