2 Years+

Somehow I missed a photo of the drop off, but we delivered the projectors to BMT this last week. Tim made the sweet cards and stickers to go with the light projectors so every family knows they were gifted by all of you! With Love, from Tate’s Tribe Thank you for blessing these families! We will continue to tweak the program and restock as needed. We delivered over 70 projectors.

While up in BMT, we saw a beloved nurse, Olivia. We’ve seen her frequently in recent weeks which is always a bright spot in our days. Olivia went through her own teenage cancer journey. Tate had to get her a matching “Love Your Melon” hat back during transplant as those weren’t a thing during Olivia’s days. Olivia is a walking miracle and now is not only a nurse but is married with a precious 1.5 year old baby girl. She was able to provide hope for Tate in so many ways but especially sharing this big news with Tate when we learned Tate likely wouldn’t have her own children. Miracles happen everyday! I’m not sure these nurses fully recognize the gift they are to the families they care for. Olivia represents many of our nurse friends and shares hope with so many families. Every time they take the time for a smile or a hug, you feel a little more understood and seen in that moment. Even, and maybe especially, two years later as the challenges continue.
