Day 1 of IVIG done. Back for day 2 tomorrow. The BIG news though is zero vomiting today!! Huge huge praise report! Tate also ate a popsicle and had a few crackers. This is the most she’s consumed and kept down in months. Her labs are also showing she is responding to the steroids. We like good labs, but most important to us is how she’s feeling. She wouldn’t say “good” yet, but “better” than last week we’ll take!

Picture of Tate and TJ as it’s his 21st Birthday. My bigs have had to be super independent over the last 6 years. I’ve missed so much with TJ especially. I made it to LPS 3 times in 4 years during his High School years. That includes pick ups and drop offs. (He mostly packed and unpacked himself in the dorm, bringing all he needed and couldn’t store there on the plane.) Not something I feel very good about. Those years are precious and I just missed too much. He just finished his junior year in college. I’ve gotten to see him a little more in WI in recent years because that’s where all the big kids were for a time. I include TJ on Tates page because it’s part of our unspoken reality and everyone had their own path in this all. Tate’s journey has affected all the kids. TJ is incredibly driven and hardworking and so very independent. He built and sold a company by the time he was 19. He bought a house at 20. He ordered a screwdriver at his Birthday breakfast at 21. Tate adores her big brother and he does a great job of looking out for all 3 of his younger siblings. Happy Birthday TJ. We thank God for the blessing you are.
