Today’s photo pretty much sums up the day. Add in some frustrated pain tears and Tate’s day is all wrapped up.
We are frustrated. And feeling more than a little defeated. It seems like pain is going in the opposite direction. Tate is sleeping…a lot and just not feeling well.
It’s Friday; so we sit tight through the weekend. Monday brings a care conference focused on discharge planning with Tate’s primary team. Our inpatient team this week is completely new….residents and all. We are feeling it. Sometimes the whole life of the person gets lost in the immediate plans for the patient. Each day is a chance for a do-over though. Communication and listening go such a long way!
On the fun side, Chayce Beckham, American Idol winner, was in Seacrest Studio today. Tate wasn’t feeling up to going down to meet him, but Tim and I had a 15 min one song pseudo concert “date.” We’ll take what we can get.
