Today was dental. When you’re as complex as Tate, you see a medical dentist; she’s seen at Children’s. After they initiated calls to her specialists due to a low ANC, she was ready to go. I felt grateful to have even a dentist that understands the whole picture and even called this morning to make sure Tate felt up to it after yesterday’s anesthesia. Over and above!
In true Spiegelberg fashion, a bone growth showed up on jaw x-rays. Could be an extra tooth or an abnormal growth. Nothing to spend too much timing worrying about at this point. Oral surgery will be next stop for this.
As expected, Tate woke back to baseline knee pain. She asked if we could schedule the more permanent nerve ablation today. Not yet, but we will get there!
Tim’s mom is having ear surgery here in Denver tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers.
