July 7th 2024

Tate received a big box full of homemade cards, a couple devotional books, beautiful homemade pillowcases and the cutest strawberry blanket from some kids that were recently at the youth rally here in Colorado. She really enjoyed reading through all the encouraging messages. To teach other teens to pause to realize that what they are living and enjoying might not be attainable for other teens is a beautiful way to teach sensitivity and empathy. Thank you to Beth Zambo at Christian Aid and Relief for organizing this for Tate. So incredibly kind and thoughtful.

Happy Belated 4th! Ours was considerably quieter this year. We opted out of a couple gatherings in order to keep Tate healthy due to her low counts and low energy. She claimed it was a bit of a bummer 4th, but better than the ones we’ve spent in the hospital.

The 5th was Tim’s Birthday which always adds some extra fun and celebration.

Tate has been feeling a little extra tired and refuses to put into words how she’s actually feeling, but she’s pushing forward to camp on Tuesday. She is SO excited to go and Tim and I are looking forward to a little local getaway while Tate will be so well cared for. We are saying a few extra prayers for everything to just hold steady.
