What a week! Tatum is wiped out after having the BEST time and creating the most amazing memories with some of her favorite people.
We stayed at our sons fiancés parents house, then to an air B&B with the bachelorette crew for a few days, then back again for a bridal shower, squeezed in some more time with the boys, a tiny bit of time with my mom and sister and back home. A whirlwind filled with so much love and laughter and celebration and gratitude. You pray from the time your kids are small that God will bless them with the perfect spouse and extended family. Our prayers are answered with Megan for TJ and her family is a gift. I’m blessed to call her mom a sweet, sweet, friend and the group of friends these “kids” have around them is a special one. My heart is full of gratitude. Keira and Tate are one of the girls and we will all cherish these memories. Thank you to all who welcomed us with open arms. Especially to Heidi and Paul and Megan. We love you.
Yesterday brought us right back to medical. OT and PT this week, appointments back on the books to get ready for camp next week! Tates homecare nurse was out bright and early and return labs were a little shocking. Tate currently has a really sleepy immune system. Not sure why she’s so low. She is severely neutropenic and dropped in several other areas. Her meds shouldn’t be suppressing her this much. Not a super safe place headed into camp. Hopefully everything will just come up on its own without having to make any dramatic changes as we finally feel like meds are making a big difference. We are praying she can just stay healthy as she’s at a level where her own bodies bacteria can make her sick.
