Transplant day -6

Day 57
Transplant day -6

Oh my word! I think it can’t grow and it does….the prayers and love and support are carrying us. Thank You!!
Tate is sick. This was what I walked in to. Fell asleep clutching her bag. Threw up every two hours all night. God bless Tim. I was in a sleep room. First night away (down the hall) in 56 days. Gearing up for the next few days. Thiotepa chemo starts at 10. She’ll get two doses 12 hours apart. It’s excreted through the skin which means baths, clothing and linen changes every 6 hours. This continues for 48 hours after the last dose. No tight skin dressings, clothing, and no scopolamine patch for the nausea. They’ve exhausted their anti nausea arsenal. Feeds are on hold and she’s already exhausted. This is hard hard stuff! Pumping in more poison when she’s already so sick is heartbreaking. We know God has her in his care. We can do hard things with God sometimes having to pull us along.
