We are home. One of Tates inflammatory markers went down a bit last night which isn’t a huge deal, but made me feel a bit better about coming home. Tates senior attending that was overseeing her care said if she needed to come back, they’d do a direct admit and we’d avoid the ER. Also a comfort. Tate has a full week of follow up appointments and labs starting Monday so will have lots of eyes on her.

Keira and Tim brought Christmas into the house while we were gone and it looks beautiful! Tate was all smiles with all the puppy love when we got home. She slept a lot due to a nasty migraine and neck pain. She’s definitely still working through….whatever this is, but it is nice to be home.

I received a phone call from one of the rare disease geneticists at Mayo, Rochester. She has gathered a team that wants to see Tate. She said she can get the full genome sequencing test covered and expedite Tates referral to the national rare disease org. We have a video call this next week to get these thing’s rolling. A trip to Rochester wouldn’t happen until February or March should we decide to pursue that avenue.

Thank you for all the encouragement and love. Grateful for our Tribe!
