We are home! ER visits with Tate at this stage of the game are tricky. As a complex patient, the ER Dr’s ensure she’s stable then reach out to her specialists for treatment decisions. ER wanted to transfer to main and admit. Rheum knows that a Friday afternoon means Tate will sit until Monday waiting on specialists and testing. I’m grateful Tates team trusts my abilities and knows Tate in order to let us be home. Monday brings 3 specialists with more throughout the week. Labs are still showing ornery kidneys and she’s now on blood pressure meds. The debate is whether this is autoimmune or graft vs. host. We’re likely one step closer to a biopsy in order to find out.
