Much of today was centered around med timing and combined meds to keep Tate out of the ICU for pain management. Rockstar nurses make all difference knowing how and when to head things off. one step at a time.
Tate tried a sip of juice today and a taste of an ice pop. That’s as far as she got as open sores all the way down your esophagus don’t mix well with liquids. But, you have to start somewhere.
Although it seems like she’s been sleeping all the time, it hasn’t been very deeply due to the pain. Migraines were also persistent today.
She squeaked by with last nights labs to not need a blood transfusion. She’ll probably need both platelets and blood tonight. So grateful to all who donate! It saves lives just like being a bone marrow donor; only everyone can do it at anytime. Please donate!
