Tate had a renal ultrasound and follow up with interventional radiology today to check on her kidney hemorrhage. Good news! It continues to shrink and most of the blood that was surrounding her kidney has been reabsorbed.
With a bit more time, it should be ‘almost’ good as new.
We’re having to dig deep for more patience and to still all creative but not so positive thoughts as Tate works through this flare and we STILL are waiting on final pathology from the same kidney biopsy that caused all of the above issues. Tomorrow marks 6 weeks. This is absolutely unheard of, but it keeps getting sent for further pathological interpretation. Tates rheumatologist is waiting as well as Tate needs a stronger immunosuppressant but it also needs to be good for her kidneys.
Have a safe and happy 4th as we give thanks for the gift of freedom.
