Day two of IVIG. Kidney biopsy came back yesterday. It’s apparent why it took so long after reading the report. Too complex for me to completely decipher on my own. So…I’m waiting on the practical application with the new information and the plan moving forward. While my prayer for the results to read “normal” isn’t what was found, I have faith that Tate’s brilliant team will come up with a solid plan. I’ll share more once I know more!

THANK YOU! We received 70 projectors and multiple very generous monetary donations. You all blew away our goal of 50 projectors. We are so excited and so grateful to partner with all of Tate’s Tribe to spread some joy to new BMT families. We’re just waiting on some stickers to go on the projectors and then we’ll be able to deliver!

As the rain is finally stopping in Colorado and it feels more like summer, it hit me that it IS summer. This feels good that we’re at home and Tate (Keira too) is in a stable place. But it’s also overwhelming that somehow we need to make it extra memorable and fun. That’s a lot of pressure. I’m realizing it’s all the little things that bring joy and build the memories. Living in each moment. To try to embrace the bigger picture steals that all away as it’s so often not where we want (or planned) to be sitting. Joy is a dog visit, a hug, a hot coffee and the giggle of a strangers sweet toddler. A phone chat with someone you love and hearing a favorite song. Add up all the moments in an hour and your cup overflows minute by minute and hour by hour. There is joy in Hope.
