We got home by 11:30 last night. We had a great week despite the medical hiccups. We are just living and finding joy in everything! It’s hard to put words to the emotions-just so grateful. We met some Tates Tribe friends! Thank you for saying hello! It’s so fun.
Kidney biopsy today. They added on a GJ exchange for Tates feeding tube. And were able to cauterize the granulation tissue. It bleeds, so it’ll be nice to have that gone. They have to fully intubate for the biopsy because she’s on her stomach and she has to lie still and be monitored for 4 hours after. So it’s a longer day but we should be able to head home tonight. Results won’t be back for about a week.
