We are home!

After a very long day yesterday and another long IVIG infusion, Tate was discharged around 7 PM with the promise I’d bring her right back if she worsened or developed another fever. We decided home was worth the gamble.

Yesterday ended up BUSY with some special bonus visitors. Tate met a new friend and they’re already making plans to be Round Up River Ranch counselors together. Brought together again, through Round Up. And Ruffles came by asking for help glamming up her Olympic cape.

In my memories it became apparent how popular this time of year has been for Tate, infections and hospitalizations. Photos popped up of 6 years ago, 4 years, 3 years and 2 years ago. Not surprising with how much she’s been inpatient, but almost all of them some kind of blood infection/sepsis/bone infection. The other, another early sign of neurological/movement disorder issues to come. A little crazy! In all honesty, I usually get an overlapping admission memories, but not usually 4 years worth. I included a few pics.

We’ve got about a week and a half to make sure Tate is good to go for our trip to WI for TJ’s (her brothers) wedding. We are so looking forward to this joyful event filled with so many of our most loved people. We are grateful for all the extra prayers for good health now through the second weekend of August.

Just a couple days left for Tate’s RRR fundraiser. Your help means the world to these kids and families. Thank you so much for the monetary support, the cheerleading and all the prayers.
