Spoiled in sunny CO

Day 24:

We haven’t had sun for a couple days (yes…spoiled in sunny CO!) So I was so happy to see such a beautiful sunrise this morning.

Tate did well today! Slept until noon which is proving to be a good coping mechanism for pain. Pain is currently everlasting, but Tate did so well today pushing through. She walked outside of the room and even took a couple steps on the treadmill. This was a huge accomplishment for her as it’s quite painful on her knees and hips in particular and she hasn’t walked that far in weeks. Tim put up some lights and Tate worked with art therapy and did some crafting on her own. It was so good to see some smiles and a little glimpse of that sunshiny personality.
